Four of the six units are set up as monthly furnished rentals catering to temporary workers and people transitioning to their next permanent home.East Ocean View has been undergoing a Renaissance over the past decade, and new upscale apartments, condos and single family homes continue to replace the older housing stock in the area. Each year, there is more of a “beach vibe”. There are now lots of bike lanes and golf carts are commonplace.At the end of our block, there is a small commercial area with an authentic highly rated Mexican restaurant and grocery, a pizza place, and a Beach Bistro type restaurant. The laundrymat is about a mile away. There is extensive shopping available on Little Creek Road, less than a mile away.This location is VERY convenient to Little Creek Amphib Base, and reasonably convenient to the Norfolk Naval Base. But what makes this location extra-special is the short walk to the beach, which is a great place for quiet recreation any time of year.
