Moon Tower Cabin – Small lake/pond cabin with seasonal mountain views: Nestled in the mountains of northeast Georgia, our lovely small lake/pond vacation cabin beckons from Blairsville, Georgia! Close to town, easily accessible roads, and convenient access to many activities, we invite you to come and enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful three bedroom, two bath cabin with all living areas on main floor of cabin (with just a few stairs to get on the deck entrance). We are in a small neighborhood, but you still feel like you have escaped to the mountains! The cabin features a fully equipped kitchen, cozy dining area with a large table, gas fireplace, living area with full views of the lake below, and seasonal mountain views! Not to mention, there are ample sleeping accommodations too: one bedroom has a king bed, another with a queen bed, and a third with a twin over full bunk bed. The living room also offers a comfortable modular full size sleeper sofa. The two baths are generously sized with a bathtub/shower in one and shower in the other. All of the bedrooms and living areas offer ROKU smart TVs with Netflix, etc. Laundry Room also located on the main level of the cabin.The home offers an expansive covered deck with various seating, including rocking chairs, lounges, a dining area, and gas grill – plenty of room for family picnics, or just quiet nights watching the fireflies sparkle, you won’t want to go back inside! There are decks on two other sides of the home as well. The large yard offers a fun fire-pit with plenty of seating as well as a backyard for playing games. All of these outside areas ensure you won’t miss a minute of the beautiful scenery and mountain breezes. For entertainment, the kids (and adults) will enjoy the fun basement game room (accessed via outside stairs), equipped with foosball, a dart board, as well as Wii gaming system, books, DVDs and more in the home. And of course, there is a canoe and a kayak for your use on the pond/lake, as well as life jackets and fishing poles (bring your own lucky bait!). Lake access is only a few steps in front of the cabin (just across the private road). Or if fishing isn’t for you, take a nice stroll around the pond and visit with the geese and ducks and other wildlife! Deer frequently visit the yard as well!Guests have full access to the lake for canoeing, kayaking and fishing. Swimming is not allowed in our little lake, however Blairsville offers a number of wonderful lakes, swimming and waterfall areas within a short drive. Our cabin is the perfect jumping off point for exploration of all this beautiful area has to offer. Hiking, swimming, fishing, or maybe just antiquing and discovering wonderful places to eat, Blairsville and the surrounding areas have it all!Just imagine yourself sitting out on the deck, enjoying your morning coffee with the cool mountain breeze wafting around you.
