Mountain Port – Swannanoa ValleyLooking for a home-away-from-home? Enjoy all western North Carolina has to offer with a home base in this comfy, clean, two-bedroom, one bath home with a full kitchen. Tucked away in a small neighborhood, this brick ranch-style house is on a private lot. Located a mile from Interstate 40, fifteen minutes to the heart of trendy Asheville, and just five minutes to charming Black Mountain.The house was built in the 1960’s and had one owner until we purchased it last year. We tried to keep the family home feel, while updating the amenities – like adding central heat and air. Should you want a night in, the kitchen is equipped and the dinner table is big enough to actually have a meal. The living room has comfy furniture and a DVD player with movies in the cabinet. The bedrooms have new mattresses and the towels are thirsty.There are several restaurants within a few miles and you are fifteen minutes from the culinary delights of downtown Asheville. Blue Ridge Parkway access is between the house and downtown Asheville. There is interior basement access to the washer and dryer.You will have the entire house and yard to yourself.
