Our 3 bedroom + loft, 2 bath townhome is the closest to Squaw Valley Rd in the complex, and just a short walk to Squaw Valley tram & lifts, hiking, restaurants, and more.STR Permit #: STR22-6109 | Max Occupancy is 6 | There is room for 2 parking spaces in the carport. Parking On Street Prohibited | Quiet Hours are from 9pm – 8am | Placer County’s Good Neighbor Policies Listed in Photos and House Rules.We have unfiltered views of Squaw Valley from the living room and master bedroom.The home has 3 floors with a step down living room, open living, kitchen, and dining room, and we have a large deck. We are also not far from Truckee or Lake Tahoe. Early check-in and late check-out may be available.Our townhome has 2.5 bedrooms + a tiny loft and accommodates up to 6 guests.HIGHLIGHTS:☆ Walking distance to Squaw Valley village, ski lifts, and hiking☆ Amazing views of Squaw Valley Resort and KT-22☆ Concierge services available through Tahoe Cohost Collective☆ Short drive to Truckee or Tahoe CityWalk up three stairs to get to the front door. Enter into the mudroom where you can take off and store your gear during your stay. We also have a mudroom closet allowing for more storage spaces for skis, boots, etc. Next, ascend the few stairs to the main living area where you will find epic views of Squaw Valley and KT-22 (our favorite chair lift).In the main living area, there is a step down living room with floor to ceiling windows, vaulted ceilings, a cozy couch built into the area along with a fireplace and a TV. We also have tons of blankets and pillows for extra cozy relaxation.We have a dining area for 6 along with an open kitchen that looks onto the dining and living room. Enjoy amazing views from inside or step out onto our large deck accessed from the dining room and take in all the amazing nature and views that surround our cozy little home.Our kitchen is fully equipped with newer appliances, along with anything you need to cook and prepare meals for the whole family. This includes coffee, spices, olive oil and more!There is one bathroom on the first floor with a walk-in shower, plenty of towels, shampoo and conditioner.Head up the next set of stairs and you’ll find a tiny little room with a bunk bed. We like to call this the “Kid’s Fort”. The room has a bunk bed and a bookshelf with plenty of children’s books. Please keep in mind this room is most suitable for children and/or small adults.On the second floor, you will find two good-sized bedrooms both with queen beds, another bathroom with a separate vanity area and the loft.The master bedroom has great views of Squaw Valley and plenty of closet space. The second bedroom also has a comfortable queen-size bed with windows overlooking the pines above.Climb the ladder to the loft for a cozy sleeping adventure! It’s like sleeping in a tree house!The bathroom on this floor is shared between the two bedrooms. It has another walk-in shower as well as a separate sink/vanity area for more privacy.This home is perfect for a family looking to stay in a comfortable hideaway in an amazing location with great views!OTHER THINGS TO NOTEPlease note that this rental does require purchasing short term vacation rental insurance for stays up to 29 nights (reservations longer than 29 nights will need to discuss insurance options with Tahoe Cohost Collective prior to booking). You will also be required to pay for a cleaning every 30 days along with the cleaning that is already scheduled after your stay.Please note that living in the mountains and staying in a private home means that there are some things we cannot always control. For example, weather and harsh conditions have knocked out Wifi and the power before. While these instances are far and few between, we please ask that you are patient as these are things that we unfortunately cannot control. While we will try and accommodate all requests, we handle refunds for situations like this (power outages, appliances breaking, etc.) on a case by case basis.PLACER COUNTY RULESPlacer County requires we inform you of the rules and regulations relevant to the home’s Short Term Rental Permit. We thank you in advance for abiding by the rules below (which are also included in the listing’s photos and posted in the home).* MAXIMUM OCCUPNACY: There shall be no gatherings, events, wedding or other group functions on the Premises with more people than the number of persons stated on the listing.* PARKING: Parking on the street is prohibited at all times. All cars, boats and trailers must be parked in the home’s designated parking spots.* QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are 9pm-8am, seven days a week. Noise carries easier and further in higher elevations and over water. Per the ordinance: No sound from home shall be audible from the parcel line during this time. Noise shall be minimized in order that it not be an unreasonable annoyance, disturbance or nuisance to neighbors.* LIGHTS OUT: All exterior lights that are not needed for safety must be turned off between the hours of 10pm-7am, seven days a week. Per the ordinance: All exterior lights must be turned off that are not needed for safety or other outdoor use to the extent that such outdoor use is not an unreasonable nuisance to neighbors.* RED FLAG WARNINGS: Due to extreme fire danger, bonfires, charcoal BBQs and wood-burning fire pits are strictly prohibited. On Red Flag Warning Days, when fire hazards are especially dangerous, typically due to dry conditions and high winders, additional restrictions are imposed by the North Tahoe Fire Protection District and prohibited. You cannot use outdoor gas grills or gas fire pits during Red Flag Warnings. All outdoor fires are prohibited, both gas and wood. It is your responsibility (the guest) to be informed of Red Flag Warnings. You will see signs on the front of all fire district stations, hear about it on the news, see it on social media and hear about it on the radio.
