Come and stay at the Hudson Valley’s only Japanese Teahouse, our hidden gem sits on the south facing side of a mountain cliff at the far end of 12-acre sanctuary. Surrounded by Japanese gardens, a heated saltwater pool, and stunning mountain views. This sweet spot is just a 5-minute drive to Woodstock for food, shopping and entertainment, close to skiing, hiking trails, 20 minutes Saugerties, Kingston, Phoenicia.Try some “forest bathing” while you watch the sun set behind the mountains from your eco-friendly king-sized bed heated bed with Sferra linens or relax outside on the wrap around patio. The well equipped kitchenette, with fancy coffee and Japanese Matcha tea has most of the basics one needs for cooking up a culinary masterpiece. The spa bathroom with rain shower and Malin and Goetz product for a little luxury. We also have a seasonal outdoor shower, with hot water! Enjoy your own private mountain side.As our guest, you have unlimited access the Onsen style heated saltwater pool (open mid-May thru mid-October) and the tennis/pickleball/basketball court. Access to the teahouse is through a seasonal private road with 4WD or a 300-footish stroll through a meadow, alongside the Japanese Gardens and fountain, and enchanting woods. Experience this unforgettable retreat that transcends the ordinary.
