Walk to Kitchen Little for the best breakfast you’ll ever eat and stroll out to Ender’s Island and imagine you have arrived on the shores of Italy. On Saturday, Santa arrives by tugboat and lighted boat parade, and you won’t want to miss that! Do your Christmas shopping easily in Olde Mystic Village and the charming shops in Stonington Borough. If thrifting is what you like, you can shop at The Como in the Borough, or Blue Mitten and Johnycake’s in Westerly, RI, 9 miles away. Head to Watch Hill for a peaceful walk on East Beach, finished off with a cocktail on the porch at Ocean House. On the way home, stop at Dogwatch for dinner on the dock or Seawell to pick up lobster rolls to bring home for dinner on the backyard patio. At dusk, keep your eyes open for deer and coyote beyond my fence.Home is a charming 3-bedroom cape, filled with ocean breezes on quiet lane. Bring or rent kayaks to launch from the shore nearby to explore Mystic and Stonington from the water. One mile walk to serene Ender’s Island, a retreat known for its ocean front and gardens. Perfect spot for fishing, picnics and collecting sea glass. Walk two miles to Mystic shops, restaurants and the famous drawbridge. Minutes to Amtrak station and I-95. Enjoy this charming home and all that it has to offer!
