We can turn the heat on remotely per request and send an invoice through VRBO. In the winter months, the water temp can average around 55° The initial heat up can consume around 30 to 40 gallons of propane. The initial heat up can keep the water warm for a couple days… when the pool temp starts getting cold we can “Bump” the heat back up to 85° each bump can consume around 10 to 15 gallons of propane. So, if someone was staying for 5 days… it could take around 55 gallons of propane to heat the pool for the stay. The cost of propane (currently in 2023) is around 4.00 per gallon (with delivery & taxes) We would invoice the guest through VRBO during the stay. Our hot tub uses electricity for heating and there is no charge for using the hot tub.
