Cabin in the woods….fishing, hunting, ORV, hiking, snowmobile riding, cross country skiing, and the list goes on.This is a year around cabin on 7 acres with 1000s of acres of federal land (Manistee National Forest) on 2 sides of the property. The cabin sleeps 7 comfortably, 1 bedroom has a queen bed, another bedroom has bunk bed with twin on top and a full on bottom, and the loft has another queen bed. The kitchen is open to the great room that has a pellet stove as a second source of heat for the home plus the cozy feel of a fire. There is a full bath on the main floor and a half bathroom in the loft. Washer/dryer is also available in the loft. This home also has a three season porches in front and a four season room in the back to enjoy during your stay. For additional sleeping there is a queen sleeper sofa in the four season room. Also in the living room there is a small couch that folds out to a bed if needed.If you enjoy fishing, you will want to check out Pere Marquette River which is just down the road (Rainbow Rapids is one of many access points). The river is known for salmon, trout, rainbow trout and big brown. Kayaking or canoeing is also a fun way to enjoy the beautiful river.Hiking through the woods is a wonderful way to enjoy the day. There is also a dog sled trail behind the cabin.
