This cozy log cabin is nestled on 1.8 acres of private property in the mountains of North Georgia, offering a calm and serene getaway from the chaos of normal life. The cabin’s location is close to several local attractions: 10 minutes to downtown Ellijay for cute shops and great local restaurants, 15 minutes to both lazy river and adventure tubing, 20 minutes to beautiful wineries & vineyards, and 20 minutes to various quaint apple orchards. It is also less than a 30-minute drive to Blue Ridge.The cabin features an open concept design with vaulted ceilings and a loft that overlooks the main floor, yet it is furnished in a way that keeps the experience cozy and intimate. The living room is the centerpiece of the cabin, featuring ample, comfortable seating. Cozy up on the couch next to the fireplace and enjoy the 55″ smart TV or relax in the nook by the window with a cup of coffee and a book. Next to the living room, you will find access to a full kitchen with standard appliances and adequate cookware to support your stay. Tucked away behind the kitchen is the private master suite, featuring a king bed with a memory foam mattress and a personal closet. Across from the king suite is a full bathroom that includes both a shower and tub as well as access to a laundry room with a new washer and dryer.Guests that stay upstairs will appreciate the unique A-frame design of the loft that features two queen beds, a full bathroom, and a balcony that overlooks the main living area. The balcony offers stunning views of the captivating woodwork and of the modern, wagon wheel chandelier.The back door offers access to the back deck which overlooks the nearly two acres of charming woods as well as the two lower decks. Head down the stairs and onto the middle deck to soak in the 6-person, 90-jet hot tub while you listen to the calming sounds of the surrounding nature. Below the hot tub deck, you will find one more deck with a firepit and Adirondack chairs to sit by the fire and relax.Guest AccessGuests will have access to the entire cabin and all its amenities. Guests will also have access to high-speed Wi-Fi that can support streaming and computer work. You will receive a door code before check-in, so there’s no need to meet anyone for keys. You can use the car port to park your vehicle, or you can park anywhere in the driveway.Other things to note:Please be aware that even though pest control treats the property on a quarterly basis, you are likely to see insects during your stay. Please do your best to keep them out of the cabin by keeping the windows and screen doors shut at all times and keeping the trash in the trash can. We recommend bringing insect repellent as a precautionary measure. Due to the heavily wooded nature of the cabin’s location, seeing wildlife is very likely. You will most likely see deer and birds; however, there have been bear sightings in the surrounding area as well.When heading to the cabin, the last half-mile of road turns to gravel, but it is very manageable in trucks, sedans, and SUVs. Maps & car navigation should have no problem getting you there, but make sure to turn on your directions prior to getting too close as cell service can become spotty as you get close.The property is monitored by one outdoor camera that faces the front porch
