Description
is a unique and one of a kind cabin with a wrap around deck; situated among the trees with mountain views. Great for a romantic retreat or relaxing getaway. Relax outdoors in a peaceful mountain setting with a beautifully stringlight lit cozy deck area, or walk up to our elevated seating area in the backyard. Indoors you will find a wood burning fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, coffee bar, board games, a Smart TV, hi-speed wifi internet, and heating. @ @ Big Bear Valley offers something for everyone throughout all of the seasons. Minutes from world class skiing and snowboarding, beautiful Big Bear Lake and The Village. Where you’ll find dining, nightlife, entertainment and our local shops. Relax in a warm and inviting gambrel style cabin. Choose from one of the many seating options: the large oversized leather sofa, two comfy lounge chairs or floor pillows and puffs if you prefer the floor. The large sliding door and window bring the outdoors inside, you’ll feel like you are amongst the trees. You can grab a book and relax in the reading nook, or play one of our many social games we keep at the cabin. A favorite option is to lounge on the sofa and listen to music on a vintage vinyl record player or you can choose towatch a movie on our Smart TV (Chromecast or AirPlay from your accounts on Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Amazon Prime, YouTube and much more). We also keep some whiskey on the bar located next to the fireplace – so if you see some and you are feeling it please help yourself. & A fully equipped kitchen providing all the amenities of home! Stainless steel appliances, pots and utensils, toaster, microwave, blender, and a tea kettle.The cabinets are stocked with plates, bowls, coffee cups, wine glasses and beer mugs. A gourmet selection of salts and cooking spices from around the world that we can’t wait for you to experience! Both bedrooms are upstairs.Both bedrooms have cozy reading corners, mirrored closets, ample closet space, hangers, and extra blankets.The main bedroom is furnished with a king bed, and a vinyl record player. The secondary bedroom offers a queen bed and a beautiful view overlooking the backyard forest. A bathroom with a rustic cabin feeling stocked with plenty of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and open shelving with luxury hygrocotton towels, black makeup towels and more. @ @ ( ) : This property is not child proof. Please do not leave your child unattended. & A confirmation to your acknowledgement of the rules via an e-signed guest agreement, a copy of a government-issued photo ID and a security deposit pre-authorization are required within 24 hours. / House-trained and friendly dogs 1 yr+ are welcomed. Up to 2 dogs allowed, additional dogs may be allowed w/ an added pet fee. . !Guest accessGuests will have access to the entire vacation home with the exception of a few locked owner’s closets. Please plan accordingly, two cars are permitted to be parked in the driveway; there is no street parking or additional parking nearby. The driveway is on an incline but is paved. Please note…there are cameras located at the driveway and entrances of the property. These are solely on the exterior of the property. Footage remains private and may be used for liability reasons and to monitor occupancy and other property policies. It in no way infringes upon the expectation of privacy in these public areas. To disable or obscure the cameras is prohibited and may result in the immediate removal of guest(s) and forfeiture of all amounts paid. Snow removal services are supposed to arrive within 24 hours of any snowfall more than 4+ inches, to clear the driveway and a pathway to the main entrance. Snow removal companies cannot guarantee a specific time the property will be serviced. Therefore, guests may have to shovel a spot to park if they arrive before the snow removal company or if it snows during their stay. There have been times in larger storms (2ft+ of snowfall) when snow removal can take longer. It doesn’t happen often, and our other guests have always been able to make it work. Just know that in those cases we are doing everything we can to get someone out there. Please be aware that weather conditions can change rapidly especially during winter months. We are unable to honor last-minute cancellations due to weather/road conditions. Chains or 4WD/AWD vehicle requirements are often in effect in order to enter Big Bear Valley. Guests booking a stay in the winter should be prepared for the possibility of tire chains being necessary to travel to Big Bear. This requirement is enforced by city officials and law enforcement. Central AC is not typical for mountain cabins. Powerful oscillating circulator fans are also provided in all rooms.
