The home has been renovated while keeping the quaint features of the historic home and neighborhood intact. As soon as you walk through the red door you will feel right at home, the cottage features original wood floors and cool blue tones throughout. Red Door Cottage is walking distance to Acker Park, you can explore the various hiking trails right from the front door. Historic Downtown Prescott is a five minute drive for those wanting to explore restaurants, art galleries and shopping.Breathe in that delicious mountain air as you find solace in the winter snow or cool summer weather. Prescott offers year round activities including Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo in July, special events at Halloween, Veterans Day parade, Thanksgiving, Lighting of the Courthouse in early December, Christmas festivities, and The Whiskey Row Boot Drop for the New Years Eve Event. The summer Concert Series brings free events to the Courthouse Square, bring your chairs, picnic basket and enjoy the music on the Courthouse Square.Prescott offers many hiking trails from light and easy to those for the more adventurous seeking a more rugged terrain. You may want to go see the Grand Canyon which is 1-1/2 hours away. Beautiful Sedona is an hour away, Jerome is 40 minutes and Flagstaff 1-1/2 hours away.
