The guest bedroom on the main floor also has a queen bed and its own bathroom.The lower level features two spacious bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and a living room and bathroom between (with a sleeper sofa in the downstairs living room).Hike down to the waterfront for some fishing or swimming, as this property is right on the Chestatee River: there is a deep fishing hole just off the bank. Please inquire before booking.Property Notes:- It is quite a hike down to the river. There are a series of switchbacks, totaling about 350 feet of trails and stairs. We think it’s worth the journey, but it’s not for the faint of heart, and you will not be able to bring a kayak or canoe down to the river (tubing/swimming/fishing – no problem).- The garage area is for laundry only and is not set up for guest parking.- There is ample parking for up to six vehicles. No trailers, campers or RV’s without approval.- The woodstove is available for use but is difficult to get a fire started in, so use is not recommended. We do not provide firewood.- The basement is heated and cooled by a ductless unit in the living room. There is also an electric fireplace in the downstairs living area.- There is a pullout couch in the living room downstairs for additional sleeping.Frequently Asked Questions:Q: Are you pet-friendly?A: *There is a pet fee for all pets that are not service animals. The pet fee is $85 plus tax (per stay, not day) for the first pet, and $60 plus tax for each additional pet. The tax rate is 16%. Please let us know about any additional pets right after you book and we will charge your payment method before your stay. We handle additional pets manually so pet fees are more affordable for guests.
