Yosemite West is centrally located inside the park entrance, and sits near an intersection of the roads leading to the park’s most famous features: Yosemite Valley, Glacier Point and Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias.This private updated 2-level house sits at the end of a quiet street, with a network of running and hiking trails surrounding the neighborhood. Too hot? Too cold? Not a problem. Our home features central air conditioning for those too hot for comfort nights and central heat to keep every part of the house toasty.KITCHEN / DINING / DECKCook comfortably in our fully-equipped kitchen with full-size, stainless steel appliances, gas range, granite countertops and fully stocked with service for 8 and all the necessary gadgets to prepare your favorite meals. Pantry is stocked with a variety of spices and individually wrapped teas, sugar and cream. The dining area has a pub-style table for six and is open to the living room area.Enjoy the views while you grill, dine or lounge outdoors on our expansive 300 sq ft. deck. You have your choice of grilling on a GAS BBQ grill (located on the deck) or grilling on a free-standing, cast iron, CHARCOAL grill (located on the lower level in front of the house).PICNIC BASKETWe’ve provided a picnic basket and cooler for a spontaneous picnic in the park. Picnic basket serves 6 and includes individually wrapped salt & pepper. Reusable ice packs can be found in the freezer.LIVING ROOMClean, bright and tastefully decorated, the living room is an inviting space with a large and comfortable curved sectional sofa, gas burning stove, flat-screen TV, and plenty of DVDs for your next movie night. The dish network connection is very unreliable due to the height of the surrounding trees. We are hoping a new carrier will soon come into the Yosemite West area with a more reliable TV service.LIBRARY WESTA diverse and extensive library of books is available for you to enjoy including books on Yosemite, hikes and nature walks. You may take books with you if haven’t finished reading them and you’re also welcome to contribute to our library with books of your own. There are plenty of “reading lights” conveniently throughout the house.BEDROOMSThe first bedroom is furnished with a full size bed and twin bunk beds. The second is furnished with a king sized bed. The master bedroom is also furnished with a king bed. Bathroom #1 has dual sinks with granite countertop, tiled floor, full size shower/tub and plenty of natural light.
