Description
High end renovation of this Charleston historic home was completed in June 2019. This is a brand new listing so it does not have reviews yet. The house has top end finishings including re-milled original Heart Pine floors, glass wall shower in masters bedroom, a tub/shower in the spare bedroom, marble bathroom countertops and butcher block countertops in kitchen, to name a few features. This fully furnished duplex house is a spacious 2 bedroom 2.5 bath 1100 sqft per unit. The bedrooms have blinds and blackout curtains. This is for the upstairs unit B. Access is at the back parking lot on the back porch. Off street parking for 2 cars per each unit A and B. Off street parking is hard to come by in this part of the city. The back parking is very private and surrounded by fencing. We are pet friendly and charge a pet fee. Once you’re settled in the house is walking distance to many attractions like the The Ravenel Bridge, Cigar Factory, Marion Square, King St, Meeting St, Visitors Center, and many restaurants and bars and parks. The house is located in the Eastside neighborhood which is becoming one of the most desirable areas of the city to live. Many homes in this area are being renovated along with large development projects by national development companies. The largest current project on the Charleston Peninsula is the Evening Post Courier Square development. This property is 2 blocks away and a multi million dollar Phase 6 project focused on both residential and commercial community. 15 years ago this neighborhood was overlooked by the majority of locals and visitors, but today it’s now becoming the area many are moving to and or visiting. 5 years ago I would tell my renters at my other properties in the neighborhood that the area is “Up and Coming”, now I tell renters the neighborhood is “Up and Came”. It’s still a great area to invest so if you’re looking for an opportunity I can assist you in that matter since that’s what I do professionally, real estate renovation and investments. I currently own 5 houses in the Eastside neighborhood. The neighborhood is so convenient to the city as a whole. You are centrally located with a main artery, Meeting St a block away to be able to get uptown or downtown quickly without the historical downtown area’s grid lock traffic. With in walking distance to many of the city’s attractions you can walk to the Ravenel Bridge, Visitors Center, Marion Square, MUSC, College of Charleston, Cigar Factory, Martin Luther King public pool, Upper King St where there are the newest hippest restaurants/bars/breweries. But most importantly the history of this neighborhood gives you a real sense of community. This neighborhood is where locals live and have lived for decades. It’s not a fabricated neighborhood, it’s got soul and charm and real beauty and it’s only getting better. The potential has not been met and only a few more years for the whole area to be developed. Come stay at my property and be apart of this transformation.I have all my rental properties cleared and blessed for the soul purpose of creating harmony for my renters because I believe our homes should be a sacred safe haven. Home clearings and blessings will release negative energy from the living space. All dwellings and land on earth are a repository for our energetic debris, affecting anyone who lives in any domicile. Have you ever passed through a room or building and immediately felt uncomfortable? The feelings and emotions that we experience when we enter a room are the energies left by previous inhabitants. When we vacate the premises, we add to the energetic mix. Therefore, the negative energetic debris of anger, fear, frustration, violence, and depression are more readily absorbed.By removing unwanted and unintended energy from your space, you create mental and emotional balance. A mental state of well-being, lightness, and clarity follow. Thus allowing a home or business to feel much more peaceful and calm.We are pet friendly but we charge a $100-$150-$250 pet fee “per pet” depending on length of stay. If you bring a pet/s we need to know what types and their size. Also, very important your pets nails are groomed since we have “Heart Pine” hardwood floors and want to avoid excessive scratching and normal wear and tear. Please pick up after your pet if they use the driveway and bag it before discarding in the trash can. Pets are not permitted on the beds/couch, but I know that’s not 100% certain so if you do have a pet that jumps on beds/couches please use the blankets in the unit or bring extra blankets to cover them. If possible crate your pet while gone. Also if you have a pet that sheds a lot you are responsible to do a cleaning of the fur before check out. A quick vacuum or sweep might be needed on your part so it doesn’t overwhelm the cleaners. An extra cleaning fee ($150) will apply if excess pet fur is left in the unit on the floor/bedding/furniture/outside porches. Keep in mind the original pet fee is not necessarily for extra cleaning. The fee is set just to allow your pet on the property not to cover the cleaning due to your pet. So excess fur inside and outside of the house would be where this extra charge comes into effect. If you have a dog/s that barks excessively when you’re not there this may not be the house for you since there is a unit below. Be conscious of this since we don’t want to disturb the other renters. You know your pet/s best so please keep this in mind. If you bring a pet and do not let us know we’ll charge double the pet fee and reserve the right to ask you to leave without a refund. It’s very important we know if pets are on property.City license #- OP2020-01384
