Nearby vineyards, fruit-picking, exceptional hiking and cycling, county fairs on weekends, shopping, tubing and rafting down the Shepaug, fly-fishing, skiing, swimming, camping, public golf and tennis courts, AMAZING restaurants, antiquing and our favorite.. flea markets. Nearby towns to explore include , Kent, Washington, New Preston, Bantam ,Litchfield and Woodbury, all approx 10-15 minutes by car.Also nearby private schools, summer camps , and movie theaters. House is newly renovated, (still finishing the final touches.)$1200 per week (rates vary for July fourth week, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving, and Christmas). Long term rental is available too.
