Kailua Beach Park is a 4-minute bike ride (bikes provided during the stay!), 14-minute walk, and 2-minute drive by car. Lanikai beach is a 5-minute bike ride, 175-minute walk, a 3-minute drive. Lanikai is noted as the best sunrise in Hawaii and the most scenic beach in America. The Mokulua Islands offshore from Lanikai have been included in numerous advertisements and movies. You can kayak out to them and explore the island on the left.
