Also there’s some great shopping opportunities with lots of new pop-up stores around the entrepreneurial Union Market scene, REI’s flagship store and all the shopping inside Union Station. You are also just a short stroll from the most popular bars and restaurants in the city. From live music, comedy, improv, and stage plays, those interested in the arts or just looking to see something new will not be disappointed!Getting Around:No need for a car, you can walk or metro to everything. Nearby Uber and Lyft rides are plentiful (and we provide coupon codes for both services) as well as Capital Bikeshares / Jump (Uber’s scooter and bike service) surrounding the neighborhood – bike the monuments for a cinematic experience unlike any other!The D.C. Streetcar and several buses can whisk guests all over the city. The stop is a 5 minute stroll from the apartment. NoMa-Gallaudet U New York Ave Station is a 7 minute stroll from the apartment. Union station is very close, and they offer all day rates at roughly $20 a day. Amtrak runs overland trains (New York & Richmond) and Metro (Red line) connects to the whole city.
