(The Grand, formerly, Sun City Grand, requires a month stay/30 day +)This home is appointed with all the big and little amenities that will make you feel like you are truly “home” the moment you arrive. With a large master suite, a second guest bedroom, both with the comfiest beds ever, and a den with a queen pull out there is room for 6 (we suggest 4 for a most comfortable stay). The house is set up to entertain; from the outdoor SS BBQ or electric grill, large circle lounge couch w/Iron table fire pit, the grassy sun lounge, to the large heated (if you like) pool with pool toys, dining area, that graces a very private (block wall corner lot) back yard oasis. The interior has been appointed well with updated furnishings, and not just staging but real home decor that surrounds you with comfort and an “at home” feel. The Cook’s kitchen is said to be one of the best appointed kitchens most have enjoyed at a VRBO – that’s because the owner is a lover of all things cooking and baking. The home enjoys a formal (not so formal) dining area with seating for 8 and an additional kitchen nook dining that seats 4. The open floor plan, quality furnishings and finishes along with the attention to all the “soft” details, make you want for nothing. You may not want to leave!Drop your bags, grab a towel and a cold drink and then go sit by the beautiful pool, soak up some gorgeous Arizona sunshine, read a book, take a dip in the hot tub, stretch out on the soft leather couches and watch a bit of TV or take a nap in either of the comfy, well appointed bedroom suites; do what makes you feel at home. Don’t miss the fabulous fruit trees out back; Meyer lemons, oranges, limes, and the biggest, sweetest white grapefruit ever! Now, click “book” and don’t forget to pack your flip flops! (I got ya covered on sun screen, pool toys, and towels!)But…if “outdoor activities” are your thing…then this home is located in the center of it all – The Grand boasts, 4 championship golf courses, tennis and pickle ball courts, putting greens, and 2 community centers with state-of-the-art facilities graced with lap pools, play pools, hot tubs, and so much more; there are even 2 full service restaurants within the Grand (one is brand new at The Falls…stunning!) Note: all resort facilities are available for guests staying 30 days or more w/a fee. Jump in “little red” the fast little GOLF CART and head out to go watch a softball game just up the street at the stunning state of the art Grand field, or take one of the three bikes and ride on the wide wandering walking/riding paths to your next adventure! (ice cream is just a 5-minute bike ride away at The Grand Cafe – one of my guilty weekly pleasures, when the grand kids are in town)It’s all here! The perfect location to take in a Cactus League ball game (just 20 minutes from many of the sports complexes) or do some shopping, see a movie, enjoy a concert, or even a hike in the White Tank Mountains just 5 minutes away. This is truly resort living in an oasis with so many options for dining out. And, if you want to explore Jerome, or Sedona they are just a hop up the nearest highway, get there by lunch and see those red rocks for yourself! Our personal favorite is going up to Wickenburg for an authentic Mexican lunch and taking in a few antique shops. The Grand Canyon is just a few hours away too, if you haven’t been there, you gotta go!Here is my promise to you; you won’t be sorry you chose the Arizona “Stay N Play” home; my goal is to make sure you feel like every detail was considered with you in mind. I want you to love it, tell your friends, or maybe you’ll want to keep it a secret so you can come back again and again! I can make that promise because unlike many Grand homes (albeit very nice too), I manage my own home rather than leave it to a property management company.
