The project will start at the West end of the island at the county park progressing towards the pier in blocks. The completion is slated for August. While this is welcomed news given the recent erosion from storms and high tides, we realize the potential for disruption based on the project’s timing.We are committed to ensuring your vacation experience remains enjoyable. While most of the beach will remain publicly accessible during the construction, there is a possibility that certain sections of the beach, typically about 500 feet at a time, may be temporarily closed off. The active work area moves every 5 to 7 days on average.Due to so many external factors, we have no way to predict an accurate timeline for when the project will be at any given location. This home is for those easy-going guests looking to get away without breaking the bank!This classic home has modern amenities with a vintage beach-house feel! The top floor of the house is elevated. As you walk in, you enter a brand new open kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen has some updates as of January 2023, including new cabinets, all new appliances, new lighting and new floors. There are two small bedrooms both with queen beds. The upstairs shares a renovated bathroom with shower/tub combo and small vanity. The screened porch and sun deck provide ample space for relaxing and porch-sitting while listening to the cool breeze.Downstairs you will find a second living area, shared bathroom and a wet bar. There are two bedrooms on this ground level, including a cozy queen bedroom and the 4th bedroom consisting of a queen and twin bed. Downstairs also contains a laundry room with a private washer and dryer. You can exit from the ground floor and walk right out to the boardwalk, through the windblown oaks and right onto the sand.
