Seaside Rose is an oceanfront cottage with panoramic views of the traditional working Maine fishing port of Bass Harbor. Guests can enjoy watching lobster and fishing boats, sail boats, sea birds and stunning sunsets from the outside deck, open-concept living and dining area, or from the second-floor sitting area.The cottage is fully equipped to accommodate 6 guests with a queen bedroom and full bath on the first floor and two queen sleeping nooks on the second floor, separated by the upstairs sitting area and full bath with shower.Seaside Rose is conveniently located to the Swans Island Ferry Terminal, the Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse, Seawall in Acadia National Park and Ship’s Harbor and Wonderland hiking trails. The cottage is a convenient 3 miles from downtown Southwest Harbor. The FREE Island Explorer Shuttle Bus can pick up right from the cottage and transport you and your guests to Acadia National Park, the popular tourist destination of Bar Harbor, or any of Mount Desert Island’s “quiet side” towns including Southwest and Northeast Harbor.See more
