Ideally located in the center of town, our home is a skip and a hop to all the downtown shops, activities, restaurants and The Whaling Museum. Built in 1795 by Captain Folger, the house has been lovingly modernized while still retaining an abundance of the original details including wide plank floors, exposed beams, panelling and fireplaces. The house has four sunny bedrooms, three modern bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, large living and dining rooms and a cozy TV room. The house has a brick dining patio and a beautiful large fenced in yard and a perennial garden featuring hydrangeas, lilies and roses. There is 1 on site parking available however the ferries and public transportation are only a short walking distance away if you choose not to bring a car .If you are looking for old world Nantucket charm, modern conveniences and easy access to town and beaches this is your dream vacation home!
