Lake Glenville sits at approximately 3,500 ft in altitude and is surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains. The sunsets are beautiful and can be enjoyed on the dock or four decks.Boat rental is a short drive away which provides an opportunity to see the entire lake with waterfalls, coves, fishing spots, swimming, etc. Of course you can drive the boat right up to the dock at the home, have lunch or grab a picnic basket. This home is for those who appreciate antiques and handcrafted items. The three floors have four bedrooms, three full baths and two half baths. There is a bunk room, suitable for kids or adults as there are twins and doubles , queens and a king as well as two sofa beds sleeping 18. There are wood burning fireplaces on two floors.Rent the lock out on the first level or the upper two floors or the entire three level home. There is a kitchenette on the third floor, a full kitchen on the middle and first level. Thus, the home is ideal for one or two families.Just minutes from the town of Cashiers with many excellent restaurants and shops. Cashiers is also in the center of southwestern North Carolina which has more waterfalls than any other location in the south. Of course within walking distance there are numerous fishing spots and hiking trails. Just a short drive away is golf, white water rafting and casinos. It is approximately a 1 hr drive from the Cherokee Casino.
