Perched high above the road, this home commands presence and offers the privacy you desire. The Glacier Peak Lodge has the most outstanding view potential of any home in Yosemite West. On a typical day, you can see through many of the picturesque windows for miles. After a long day of hiking, swimming, or sightseeing in beautiful Yosemite National Park, you can come home to unwind by watching the sunset from the comfort of your living room while enjoying the warmth of the cozy stone fireplace. This home features bedrooms equipped with 14-inch memory foam mattresses for a relaxing night’s sleep and four roll-away beds. This lodge also offers a large living room with a stone fireplace, a spacious kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, a rustic dining room, and two large decks. Wireless Bluetooth speakers are also available.Things to KnowDuring the winter months (affected months vary upon on the weather), all patio items are stored away. The grill will also not be available during this time.There is WiFi at the property, but only for web browsing and email; it is not available for streaming.Due to Glacier Peak Lodge’s unique mountain terrain perched high on a hillside, during our winter season from November 1st through April 30th, this property can only be accessed by using the stair entry, which has an additional 26 steps leading up into its main entrance. This is not a problem for most people and is well worth the climb for its amazing views.Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.More information can be downloaded from the “Rental Agreement” on the checkout page.Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book.
