Hike 10 minutes from the house and you’ll find yourself in Manresa State Beach Park.With a panoramic view of the Monterey Bay, our 3 bedroom, 3 bath home offers you the perfect venue for a week long family vacation or a quick weekend get-away with friends. On our spacious deck you can enjoy a delicious BBQ and your favorite beverage while marveling over spectacular ocean sunsets and listening to the crashing waves. Guests are often treated to the sight of dolphins frolicking just off shore, and even an occasional whale sighting!If it’s a rowdy time at the beach you’re after, this is not the place for you! But if you find yourself needing a break from all of the tranquility of Sand Dollar Beach, then head north for 15 minutes and you’ll be in Santa Cruz with its wonderful restaurants, eclectic downtown, artistic community and, of course, the fun-filled Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. If you venture 25 minutes south, then you’ll arrive in Monterey with all it has to offer, including the world-renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. Pebble Beach and the 17 Mile Drive are close by, and if you head a bit further south, Carmel-by-the-Sea is your next stop. It’s then on to Big Sur. Drive north 90 miles on the spectacular Coast Highway and spend a day in San Francisco.Santa Cruz County is an outdoor enthusiast’s paradise: hiking, biking, surfing, kayaking, golfing, fishing, paddle boarding, everything but snow skiing! Featuring new cabinets, hardwood flooring, a stunning quartzite countertop, 5 burner gas cooktop, double oven, farmhouse sink, beverage center and decorative lighting, the kitchen provides everything you’ll need to prepare gourmet meals in a stylish environment. Just add food!The master bedroom has a king bed, flat screen TV, spacious en-suite bathroom, and a view of the Pacific. You’ll fall asleep to the sound of ocean waves.The guest bedroom includes a queen bed, flat screen TV and easy access to the guest bathroom.The downstairs is perfect for kids with two twin beds in the den. An inflatable bed is also available. There is a large TV and plenty of board games and video games. There is a private side entrance to the downstairs bathroom, making a quick rinse with a warm shower easy when returning home from the beach.Enjoy high tech entertainment – You’ll have no problem streaming your favorite shows using our wireless high speed network with a strong signal throughout the house. We also provide premium channel Xfinity cable programming and Blu-ray/DVD players. The home has a great separation of space, so the kids can be downstairs playing games, while the adults are upstairs enjoying a movie, reading or just relaxing on the spacious deck.Our kitchen comes stocked with just about all of the standard supplies you’ll need (spices, cooking oil, plastic wrap, paper towels, etc). Many beach rentals require that guests bring their own linens and towels. What kind of vacation is that? At our home you are provided with high quality bedding, linens, bath towels and even plenty of beach towels. Bathrooms include soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. You are welcome to use any of our beach toys. Pride of ownership is reflected throughout. We guarantee that our guests arrive at a home that is in immaculate condition. We are responsive to our guests and are always available to answer questions or address concerns. We want you and your friends and family to have your best beach vacation ever, and to schedule a return visit even before your stay is over!We do not add on any administrative or “host fees,” but please note that a separate $225 cleaning fee is to paid directly by guests to the housekeepers. This is in addition to the amount collected through VRBO.
