The Parks Chalet is cute as a button. Located 17 miles west of Flagstaff near the historic railroad and on the way to the Grand Canyon this is a perfect home base to explore all that Northern Arizona has to offer. Only about a mile south of I-40 at exit 178 (Parks). This architect designed cabin is built in a very private setting, surrounded by Ponderosa Pine trees. It can be awkward renting STVR next to full time neighbors, Parks Chalet Borders the Kaibab National Forest with no neighbors next to you so you will have total privacy. Bring your ATV toys for your off road fun .The kitchen and living room feature granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances with a beautiful electric fireplace. The sofa sleeper provides a very nice experience with the TV , electric fireplace, French doors, window views of the beautiful nature outside. The upstairs bedroom balcony has a small deck with a breath taking view. The outdoor paver patio features a gas fire pit, and barbecue grill with dining area. The back of the property has rocky cliffs great for exploring, hiking and at the top you can see San Francisco peaks. Animal lovers check out Bearizona and the deer farm located near by.Parks Feed and Mercantile gas station and Parks In the Pines General Store Deli & Cafe just down the street.In the winter make sure you have SUV, Front wheel drive or 4 wheel drive vehicle incase it snows.
