It has many vaastu-shastra* features, including exclusively East-West entrances and Southeast kitchen. It has a wrap-around covered porch, knotty pine interior woodwork, and 360 degree views through the abundant windows. The hillside has a number of indigenous trees and native grasses. There is a feeling of serenity and solitude as the house sits atop the hill, even though there are several other homes in the area. You cannot help loving the experience of this place! The mountain road is maintained all year by the Town of Evergreen. Snowplows make their way up the mountain after each snowfall, so just wait a little bit if the road is snowy before you head out on a snowy morning.
