If you love hiking on beautiful trails to waterfalls or just plain relaxing on the deck with peaceful lake views this is the place for you. Our family vacation home sits on property that has been in our family for over 65 years. We put a new home on the property in 2006 and it is up to date with beautiful bamboo plank flooring and a combination of farm house and vintage furnishings. A huge back deck over looks Lake Becky at one of the best view points on the lake. This is our home away from home so it is tastefully accented with cherished momentos of our grandparents and parents and there are family photos. We hope you will feel a part of our family.Note about accessibility of home and lake. There are 3 steps to enter the front of the house. From the deck there are 3 different staircases that lead to the back yard with at least 10 stair steps down. Then there is one additional stair case of 10 or more steps down to the lake. All staircases have hand rails, but if you are handicapped this is not recommended that you use the stairs.We have a kayak and a canoe that is available for your use once you fill out a waiver.There are waterfalls and beautiful hikes nearby and we have a notebook with suggested hikes in the house. Stumphouse Mountain tunnel is also near by and a favorite stop on a hot summer day. It’s cool inside the tunnel, make sure you bring flash lights.
