Within 30 minutes you can visit the beach at Hunting Island State Park or the outlet malls in Bluffton. And for a day trip, Savannah and Hilton Head Island are just under 1h and Charleston just over 1h.Downtown Beaufort and Port Royal are within biking distance (we recommend taking the Spanish Moss Trail) along with a couple of grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, parks, and a basic shopping plaza. The neighborhood is also very walkable.THE HOMEEnjoy a gourmet kitchen with gas stove, granite countertops, a fully stocked pantry, and all the appliances and cooking implements you need. Coffee, tea, basic pantry essentials, toiletries, extra blankets and pillows, cleaning supplies, toilet paper and paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, sunscreen, and bug spray are all provided along with spare toothbrushes and charging cables in case you forget yours. Our home is family-friendly (but be aware it is not fully childproofed!) and we have a variety of games, puzzles, books, and toys for you to enjoy.There are three spacious bedrooms and one full bath. The primary bedroom has a king bed with French doors that open into the back yard where the hot tub is located on the patio. The second bedroom has a twin with a twin trundle that can pop up to make a king size bed if you prefer. It also includes a small desk that can be used as a remote work station. The third bedroom has two twin beds and is perfect as the “kids room” with the fun space-themed decor. There are also two pack n plays if you need them as well as an air mattress.There is high speed wifi and two of the bedrooms and the living room have flat screen HD TVs with rokus so that you can utilize your streaming accounts. There are a few free live channels as well.OUTDOORSThe yard is the perfect place to relax when you aren’t out experiencing all the Beaufort area has to offer! The hot tub is on the patio just outside the French doors from the primary bedroom and there is an above ground pool to cool off in on hot afternoons. There is also a play area for the kids, an outdoor seating area with a fire pit, and cornhole.Our yard is a Certified Carolina Yard by Clemson University Cooperative Extension. We have worked hard to turn our property into a backyard oasis. It doesn’t look like a traditional suburban lawn and is not meant to. We love the diversity of butterflies, bees, birds, and other wildlife we spot on a daily basis. We hope you do too!EXTRASBring your toys! We have space for boat AND RV parking.
