Description
Peaceful Retreat – Downtown Boone *pet friendly*Only 1 mile from downtown Boone, our property backs up to a large wooded area on two sides. The spacious fenced-in backyard has access to two outdoor dining areas as well as a fire pit and grill. The home has great natural light and overlooks Howard’s Knob. You may also catch a peek of our flock of chickens who live in their coop in the backyard.This is a single-story ranch in a quiet neighborhood. You will have the entire space including a fully stocked kitchen. The space includes three bedrooms (king bed, queen bed & full bed), and a third room is also set up as an office space. There are also two full bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bathtub/shower. You will also have full access to the washer and dryer during your stay.Close to downtown Boone restaurants and shops and only 15-20 minutes from some great skiing, mountain biking, boating, tubing, and hiking! I’ll also provide directions to my favorite hike within walking distance. I am happy to make individual recommendations to our favorite spots for adventures in the mountains!When booking with pets I just ask that they be crated while you are away from the home and that you attempt to keep them off of the beds.**AC window unit in room with king bed only. All bedrooms have a ceiling fan.**Dec-Feb: All-wheel drive/4-wheel drive is recommended. Roads are promptly plowed in town around the house, but depending on the volume of snow in a given snowfall, there may be a delay in how quickly the driveway can be plowed.
