They like to come out on sunset hour, and use our empty yard as a path. Enjoy a nice evening with pretty sky, have some tea at our outdoor table, and hopefully you will see some cool animal crossing.At night, if you enjoy the sound of crickets and night birds, feel free to open the windows, specially on cooler days (Although you might get some traffic noises, sine we are right off a main road, mostly in the mornings).Getting Around:We are within walking distance of the entire town of Oakhurst.Public Transportation stops at our street. There’s also a trolley that works on the weekends.Oakhurst, sadly, isn’t the most walking-friendly town, however you can walk almost everywhere, specially from this location.Parking is easy around here as well (with the exception of Bass Lake area).Other Things to Note:We provide high speed internet, but being in the mountains, service can sometimes be disconnected, typically only for a few minutes.The driveway is shared parking with the other unit, and the driveway itself is a bit steep, which can be hard to navigate.We have instant hot water from a well on site, but the pump can sometimes make noise that can be heard from within the rental.Interaction with Guests:We are available to help anytime.
