Plus, when summer months come around, sip your favorite beverages on the balcony and enjoy the fresh air.Sitting a mile north of Northstar California Resort, you’ll have no delay in getting out and experiencing some unforgettable mountain fun. Clip on your skis or slip on your hiking boots depending on the time of year, as there are a plethora of activities for all seasons. If you want to venture out a bit further, downtown Truckee is 7.5 miles north offering a wide variety of restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. Plus, Kings Beach will be just the ticket for a lake day just eight miles away.Enjoy access to the Northstar recreation center amenities, which include tennis courts, basketball courts, a fitness center, a sauna, a hot tub, a seasonal lap pool, and an open grill area next to a beautiful creek surrounded by pine, fir, and aspen trees. (Site rentals include the use of three picnic tables and up to two gas BBQ grills with grilling utensils.)
