However, I do ask that if you plan on bringing your best friend to please do not use Silver Strike as your kennel. Bringing your pet on vacation means that you bring them with you & Truckee is VERY dog friendly. Animals can get anxious being in a new location & there is a greater chance of accidents. I also ask that if you have to leave them unattended, you bring a their home or kennel with you. This keeps them safe and from causing damage if stressed. Guests that think that this policy is not pet friendly are welcome to book elsewhere. As an owner who visits often, guest experience is very important to me but also making sure the investment I made is protected so others can enjoy it. $200 pet fee.
