A modern brewery, Swells’a Brewing, just opened less than a mile from the house & it perfectly accommodates both adults and kids.Much more shopping is a short drive away, including Harris Teeter, Food Lion, Publix, Walgreens, Target, and tons of specialty beach shops. Like to pack heavy for the beach? There are public beach accesses with parking lots at both Martin and Atlantic Streets (5 minute walk or just a 2 minute drive!).
