The area has witnessed the loving restoration of historic homes, and the emergence of excellent restaurants along nearby South Congress adds to its allure.Kick back and relax in this 750 sq ft inviting space with modern furnishings, cozy bedding, and captivating art that complement beloved throwback elements like the timeless bathroom sink and vintage gas range.The master suite boasts a luxurious king bed, while the second bedroom features two comfortable twins. For additional sleeping arrangements, an air mattress is available upon request, so you can sleep up to 5.Outside, you’ll find tranquility on the inviting front porch or expansive lawn. Venture to the shared backyard for even more space to unwind.The property is dog-friendly. You can bring up to 2 dogs with a max of 60 lbs. combined weight. (Please let us know at booking to get authorization. You’ll have full and exclusive access to unit A and shared access to the backyard and common areas with the friendly owner next door.Interaction with GuestsIt’s self-check-in using a code. All the access codes will be provided to you before your arrival.You’ll have complete privacy during your stay, but we’re available 7 days a week. Should you need anything, just send us a message!Other things to noteJust remember, you’re renting one side of a duplex and the outdoor spaces are shared with the owner’s home next door.We provide some bath essentials like soap, shampoo, conditioner, body gel, toilet paper, and some garbage bags. Please note that these are not replenished during your stay.Pack-n-Play travel crib (with sheets) & high chair are available upon request.Daily house cleaning is not available however, if you would like a mid-stay cleaning, one can be arranged for a fee. Please let us know in advance.Guests will need to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation and/or upon arrival.A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in, subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.We kindly ask all guests to abide by these HOUSE RULES:- Travelers must be at least 21 years old or older to book.- No smoking of any kind (tobacco, cannabis, etc.) inside the home, and the use of any recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty.- No parties, events, or illegal activities are permitted, and no excessive noise, especially between 10 pm and 7 am, will be tolerated. Please respect the neighbors.- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or extra-cleaning charges if needed after their stay.- Renters may be required to provide a government ID on check-in day or during their stay when identity verification is necessary.- Pet-friendly with prior authorization at booking, a signed pet agreement, and a pet fee of $25 per night. The area is also known for its unique upscale homes and two beautiful parks, one with a natural springs pool free for visitors, and connected by the Blunn Creek Greenbelt. The property is also a mile south of Lady Bird Lake with a trail that runs alongside it for running, walking, or biking, and 3 miles from downtown Austin.Getting aroundThe nearest international airport is Austin (AUS) 8 miles | 13 km away. While the neighborhood is highly walkable, we recommend having a car to fully explore the plethora of nearby attractions. However, there is Uber and Lyft in Austin as well, if you prefer.
