The master bedroom is off of the kitchen, offering a comfy king size bed, and there is a full bath on the first floor, just around the corner from the bedroom, with a walk-in shower, and the washer and dryer.Head upstairs, and you will come upon the other 2 bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the other with 2 twin size beds. The other room on the second floor, has been casually furnished with 2 cozy recliners, a tv, as well as the exercise bike— “The Man or Woman Cave ” ! Also on the second floor is another full bath, tub/shower.The driveway is narrow, but enough parking for 2 cars. There is a town parking lot, just down the street if you need overflow parking.Bath, also known as the City of Ships, has a lovely walkable downtown complete with restaurants, pubs, retail shopping, a drug store, and weekly farmer’s market which is held at the city’s waterfront park. The home is in close proximity to the great Popham Beach, Fort Popham, Reid State Park, Morse Mountain, and other great hiking trails as well as ocean areas to explore. Bath is also within reasonable driving distance to Harpswell, Boothbay Harbor, Wiscasset, Bar Harbor, Freeport and Portland. This home is an excellent home base for exploring coastal Maine, or would also make a fantastic long term rental for those who wish to stay a bit longer!
