It’s a steep drive, but so worth the breathtaking views. Featuring a wrap around deck with a covered porch, it’s perfect for family and pets as well. You’ll want to enjoy some time on the porch to relax with your favorite book and beverage or head out to hike with your pet. Mabry Mill and Chateau Morrisette are just down the road.This delightful cabin is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. Enjoy the wrap around decks and balcony and have your meals outside. The views are breathtaking and you can see for miles and miles. In fact, you can see Pilot Mountain in NC from our deck in Meadows of Dan, VA. Floyd, VA and Mt. Airy, NC are less than 30 miles away.The stars are beautiful and there is a natural peace at the Perch. Come stay with us!You’ll have access to the entire property.We are just phone call away and our numbers are posted in the home.Private CommunityDon’t let the fact that we don’t have AC deter you from staying with us. The Perch sits high on a mountain, so there is a constant breeze. We have screens in all the windows so just open them up and let the cool come through.Just a few reminders:1 – Pets allowed with permission, MAX 2 dogs, sorry NO cats.2 – Absolutely NO Smoking3 – Please do not move furniture4 – You’ll be staying in a cabin in the woods. We apologize now if bugs make it into the cabin between cleaning and your arrival. That’s just cabin life. We have pest control service, but the bugs are smarter :)5 – Keep it clean. When you leave it should look the same as you entered, with the exception of bed linens and towels6 – Remember it’s our home, so treat it with respect7 – IMPORTANT: Landline phone available for local and 911 calls, as well as inbound calls. The number is available at booking. Please share with your friends and families should they need to call. Verizon has excellent service at the Cabin.
