With only one large hotel, the beach has retained it’s “old beach town” feel. With mostly cottages and very few multistory condos nothing about it fells like a tourist destination. Loaded with local restaurants, this is the uber cool, laid-back beach town. And what to “take it up a notch” for a night it’s a 5-minute trip to Clearwater Beach via car or take our Famous Trolley for a safe drinking night. There are plenty of places to visit, restaurants to experience and bars to enjoy for a lifetime of enjoyment. You won’t want to leave and most certainly will want to come back.Getting Around:We include a 6-passenger golf cart for FREE! Having a golf cart is a GAME CHANGER! It’s a wonderful for going back and forth to the beach for the below reasons:1.There is a dedicated FREE golf cart parking at almost all of the 27 beach entrances in IRB. The parking for cars at all but on of the beach entrances in Indian Rocks Beach is for residents only. The one parking lot that is for the public is very hard to get a spot there after 10:30 or 11:00 am and you could never leave and come back in one day and get a spot. With the golf cart you can go back and forth all day long even at sunset.2.It is awesome for loading your gear easily and hauling the family back and forth to the beach.3.The 3rd row folds down to a cargo bed.
