You enter this home through a fresh and spacious kitchen fully equipped with stainless steel Whirlpool appliances, a Mr. Coffee machine, and all the dishware you will need. From the kitchen, you will find a bar top, with seating for four, and a dining table with enough seating for eight.The eating areas flow into the living area, where you will find ample seating and a large TV. The living area also provides access to the backyard and bottom porch, which boasts an outdoor dining table with seating for four. The first floor is also home to the master bedroom, which includes a large TV and access to the bottom porch. You will also find the master bathroom, which has double sinks and a large closet, and a walk-in shower. Finishing off the first floor is the half bath with an adjacent stackable washer and dryer. The second-floor houses two guest rooms, each with its own private ensuite bathroom and access to the upper balcony, which allows for wonderful views of the pool and partial ocean views. In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island’s million-dollar amenities, which include Clubhouse, zero-entry pool and fitness, beach deck, beach access and a community fire pit.2 Parking Spaces – No trailers of any kind allowed. Central beach access is located at the Clubhouse. DUE TO STORMS THAT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE BEACH CROSSOVER TO THE OCEAN, WE DO NOT GUARANTEE BEACH ACCESSThe Cottages beach is approximately 2000 linear feet and has a dune area and seawall that runs the length of the Cottages oceanfront property. There are 3 dune crossovers to the sand area landside of the seawall that are always accessible, and that area can be used for recreational purposes. The access to the beach over the seawall is centrally located at the pool & clubhouse. At high tide, the water is at the seawall. The tides change every 6 hours from low to high tide. A tide chart will help you plan your beach time. The nearest beach park with ocean access all day is Oceanview Beach Park, appx 2 miles south just past the Holiday Inn.
