Outside the property has a large open deck, covered back porch, fire pit area and a paved driveway with a basketball court. A short walk down a private path to the shore provides water access for kayaking, and exploring Raccon Cove. The property is also centrally located in Lamione and is close to all of its amenities, just 1 1/2 miles from Marboro Beach, 1/2 mile from freshwater swimming at Bloomfield Park on Blunt’s Pond, and 3 miles from Lamoine State Park, and Lamoine Beach. All saltwater sites provide boat access to Frenchman’s Bay. If you like golfing, Bar Harbor Golf Course is only 5 minutes away. Both portions of Acadia, (Mount Desert Island and the Schoodic Pennisula), and Bar Harbor are within a 15-20 minute drive. Both cabins sit near the shore and provide water access for kayaking, and exploring Raccon Cove. Relax by a beautiful babbling brook in the back yard.The other is a ocean side cottage with a wonderful private sandy-gravel beach.
