Originally built in the 18th century, this home was moved to Sea Pines in 1963. Dubbed the “Freedom House” – this architecture masterpiece is filled with character and charm. It underwent a major remodel and expansion and is stunning. The original bricks, beams, doors, mantels and railings leave all of the character that makes this home such an amazing home. There is exposed brick throughout and truly just beams with architecture charm and charisma.This home offers a private pool and spa. Grill out for the family on the outdoor grill or relax in the seating area just off the pool. The pool and spa are able to be heated for an additional fee for stays falling between Labor Day through Memorial Day. There is also a stand-alone ice maker, wine fridge, a second oven, and second full-sized refrigerator with a freezer located in a side room off the kitchen.There den is just off the kitchen/dining area and has a flat screen TV. The main laundry room is located on this level with a washer and dryer.The first bedroom has a queen bed, walk-in closet, and a 55″ smart flat screen television. The updated private bathroom has a shower/tub combo.2nd Floor:The spacious master bedroom has a king bed and access to the private southern style porch. There is a walk-in closet and a 55″ smart flat screen television. The private bath has a large, updated walk-in shower and marble countertops on both his and her sinks.The third bedroom has a king bed with a 40″ smart television. The private bath offers a double vanity and a walk-in shower. The fourth bedroom has a king bed plus a twin bed with a pull out twin trundle. There is a 40″ smart flat screen television and a private bath has a double vanity and walk-in shower.Guest House:Just steps away from the main home, you will find the mother-in-law suite. This is located upstairs separate from the home. It has a king bed and a 65″ smart flat screen television mounted to the wall. The private bath is updated with marble countertops, a double vanity, and large walk-in shower.
