It has a glass panel in the floor for viewing the stream in the dining area. Modern conveniences include a Smart TV, WiFi, newer kitchen appliances, A/C & washer/dryer. Recent upgrades/renovations were completed in Fall/Winter 2023-2024.Schroon Lake Serenity enjoys gorgeous lake views, both from the house and at the waterfront located less than 50 yards from the front door. The best is the private 100′ beach and dock, easily accessed by crossing East Shore Drive. Back at the house, a large, expansive deck with gas grill provides a lovely space for outdoor meals and general relaxation.The master bedroom has a king-size bed with a view of the lake. The two guest bedrooms have queen-sized beds. All bedrooms share a full bath. There is a pull-out queen sofa in the back living room. Note: all the upstairs bedrooms have open ceilings which add to the charm of the home.Schroon Lake Serenity is perfect for those who opt to rent in a secluded, quiet part of the Adirondacks that’s just a short drive to a local store, town, or highway. Ideal for families, couples, friends’ getaways, and work-group / meditative retreats. There’s plenty of room for a yoga mat (or more!) on the deck at the house or the floating dock on the lake. Kids will love exploring the natural surroundings – both the stream & the beach.We want you to relax and feel comfortable at your home away from home. Feel free to watch the old VHS tapes/DVDs, use the games, and borrow books from the library. Get cozy in front of the wood-burning fireplace in the living room, or have fun roasting marshmallows at the movable fire pit on the beach.
