If the parties are unable to come to a settlement, the aggrieved party may file the dispute with the American Arbitration Association (AAA) located in Hartford, Connecticut. Within ten calendar days after the arbitration demand is served on the respondent, the parties must jointly select an arbitrator . If the parties do not agree on an arbitrator within ten calendar days, a party may petition the agency whose rules govern the arbitration to request a list of arbitrators and select one under the agency’s rules. The initial filing cost shall be borne by the aggrieved party. The final arbitration cost shall be shared by both parties. The sole remedy will be actual damages; nopunitive damages are allowed.
