A little under 30 minutes will take you to the ski slopes of Hunter Mountain or breathtaking Kaaterskill Falls. And make sure to head into Phoenicia or nearby Hudson to check out the unique shops (many selling the work of local artisans alongside upscale offerings) and excellent restaurants, each with authentic Catskills character.Getting Around:Bringing or renting a car is highly recommended as Uber, Lyft and Taxi service in the area can be extremely limited.
