Newly renovated, well-designed cottage located on desirable James Island.Open floor plan nestled under live oaks on a half acre property.It’s tranquil and quiet and provides the perfect location for walking to tons of restaurants, movie theatre, public golf course, music venue, boat landings and one mile from the county park that offers walking/biking trails, playgrounds, splash pads, climbing and the only dog park on the island.Just minutes to downtown Charleston & Folly Beach!The spaceLive oaks provide a canopy over the cottage and many windows make for a beautifully, well lit spot with tons of natural light. Open floor plan offers a big bay window with bistro seating, a kitchen with pantry, coffee pot, toaster oven, and wall oven, and the living room is spacious with a couch, bookshelf, coffee table, and large TV. The bedroom is just off the living room where you’ll find a the separate laundry room, queen bed with two nightstands, dresser, closet and a bathroom that features an alcove.Guest accessCoastal Cottage is situated in the back of the half acre lot. In the front of our property is our sister Airbnb: Live Oak Retreat. It features a 3/2.5 one story home. Guests of Coastal Cottage park directly in front of their home. Guests at Live Oak Retreat park on the left side of the driveaway and along the side of the deck and carport. The right side of the driveway needs to remain open so Coastal Cottage guests can access their home. We have never had any issues with parking but want to make sure all guests are aware of how to share the parking space.Other things to noteWalking/biking distance to:- Municipal Golf Course – open to the public!- Terrace Theatre – only theatre on the island!- The Pourhouse – live music every day & don’t miss the Sunday Farmer’s Market- Tons of restaurants: Crust, Maybank Public House, Millers All Day, Paddock, Bar George, Azul, Charleston Sports Pub, L&B Sweets + more!- Only five minutes from two public boat landings- Just minutes from downtown Charleston and Folly Beach!- Only one mile to James Island County Park which offers extensive walking/biking trails, playgrounds, splash pads, climbing and the only dog park on the island.- Only one mile to James Island Shopping Center that includes: Harris Teeter, Starbucks, CVS, Maple Street Biscuit Company, Muddy Waters (local coffee shop), My Father’s Moustache (English pub), Barberitos (Southwest), Athens (Greek), Pilates gym, Liquor store, and nail salon.
