It is common for bears and mountain lions to pass near the home. They are attracted to your food!Please clean up any leftovers nightly, making sure not to leave any food out on the counters. Dispose of trash in the bear safe trash can and ensure it remains locked. Leaving trash or food out WILL attract bears. You can leave the downstairs bathroom window open if you wish, but we recommend all other windows stay shut at night and while you’re out of the house during the day.The septic system is sensitive and cannot handle the load of your typical city sewage system. Please do not put any food or grease down the sink drain as it will clog up.
