BETWEEN OCTOBER 2023 AND OCTOBER 2024, THERE WILL BE ROADWORK OCCURRING WEEKDAYS ALONG PUAKO BEACH DRIVE. CALL IF WANT FURTHER DETAILSThis unit is on the ground floor and is accessed from the outside via an open air walkway minimizing your contact with others.Our special condo was completely renovated in the summer of 2017 with high quality appliances and fixtures. There are tile floors through out the unit. The kitchen has all new stainless appliances and a large granite counter top/breakfast bar for eating in. Or dine al fresco on the lanai with seating for four. The condo has A/C in the Master bedroom and living room. Also, ceiling fans are located in each room making warmer days a breeze. A reserved parking spot is conveniently located just steps from the unit.Puako is a quaint, quiet historical community known for its relaxed local beach culture. Puako is a beach community unlike the resort areas on the Kohala Coast, with seven unique beach access points along the two mile stretch of homes. The Puako Condo building is a unique fixture along Puako Beach Drive as there are no other buildings aside from houses, a country store and two churches. The condo is conveniently located next door to the historic and friendly family-owned Puako General Store, where you can buy food, cold drinks, prepared meals, rent DVDs, and more.Full access of the condo, the pool and the grounds. Conveniently located on the ground floor, close to your assigned parking spot and pool!The beach is right across the street. It’s perfect for snorkeling and is home to many honu (sea turtles). Wake up for the sunrise over Mauna Kea and see the turtles sunning themselves on the rocks. Just a 200 yard walk from your front door. And, in the same spot, is the best sunset on the island. It’s magical. Puako reef is also recognized as one of the best scuba areas in all of Hawaii. Stand-Up Paddleboards and kayaks are available for rent nearby.Ocean adventures (whale watching, swim with wild dolphins, and manta ray snorkeling) are available from the Puako Boat Ramp, five minutes (or less) from your door.PLEASE NOTE: This unit has ONE dedicated parking stall. Please consider renting a larger vehicle to accommodate all of your party. There is NO street parking allowed for vacation rentals according to local regulations. A secondary parking stall within the designating building parking lot MAY be an option but cannot be guaranteed for the duration of your stay or designated until shortly before your arrival. IF and as available, the additional parking stall within the designating building parking lot will be assessed an additional, daily fee. Please inquire directly, shortly before your arrival, for further information and potential availability.Please keep in mind that Guest is in a very small and peaceful residential neighborhood. Noise carries over quiet landscapes and near water.
