Just a little over a mile south is the salt marshes of the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge where you can go bird-watching or conquer the hiking trails. Be sure to pack your golf clubs, because Webhannet Golf Club is only two miles from your front door. Another half-mile north you will find downtown Kennebunkport where you can dine and shop to your heart’s content.
