It is on a quiet one-way side street literally one block from Wisconsin Ave, your destination for cafes, restaurants, bistros, shopping and antique browsing.The home offers ~1150 square feet over three finished levels with plentiful natural sunlight. Desirable amenities include hardwood floors, two wood burning fireplaces, skylights, a private deck, and brick patio. The main level has an open sitting area facing the fireplace and large TV, and dining area with table seating for 5. It overlooks the deck and the back yard. A fully stocked kitchen with center island greets you. Upstairs you will find a master bedroom with king bed and a second bedroom with a full bed and desk. A full bath with tub separates the two bedrooms. The lower level is an adorable full studio with sliding doors to the back patio. It features a fireplace, sitting area, queen bed, a roll-away twin bed, kitchenette and full bathroom. Fenced backyard and deck provides space for outdoor relaxation or entertaining.Note that the home has the original floors and stairs, a quaint feature, however the stairs are steeper and narrower than you would find in today’s homes. Also, the master bedroom is open to the main floor, one floor below, (so the skylight provides light on both levels). Consequently, this home is not a good choice for toddlers or anyone challenged by stairs.
