Description
Immaculate, sunny, spacious one-bedroom garden apartment with a fully-stocked large kitchen, washer/dryer, and free street parking. Easy walk to Harvard, HBS, MIT._This is the only short-term rental I have, and it’s in the same building where I live with my family. We have 100% 5-star ratings on “the other site” that lists short-term rentals (the site that has “air” in the name). You can find my listing on that other site by doing a web search for listing number 37931659 (include the name of that other site in your web search). If you book there, you will not have to pay for insurance or leave a damage deposit, because they provide hosts with good insurance at no cost to guests._Location is near the intersection of Kinnaird and Jay. We are an 8-minute walk to the Red Line metro station at Central Square._My cancellation policy is as fair as can be: if you cancel, I will issue a refund for all nights that get booked by somebody else. Just contact me after your dates have passed to see if someone else took the dates._DETAILS:This spacious, light-filled one-bedroom apartment apartment accommodates four adults plus one infant. (Queen bed, queen sofabed, pack-n-play.)_The kitchen is large, and stocked with silverware, plates, bowls, glasses, pots and pans. It has a gas range, and solid granite countertops._Parking is on the public street, but it’s very easy to find a spot right in front of the house. You’ll find the parking permit on the table when you arrive. The permit is for any car, even if you do not have local license plates. Be sure the permit is visible on the driver’s side dashboard._The bedroom is private and very quiet. There is also a pack-n-play for babies. (This is a portable baby bed / playpen.) There is a full-length mirror on the back of the closet door, and there are two portable makeup mirrors._The living room has lots of light and a nice backyard view. There is a queen sleeper sofa. A standard queen mattress is 60″ x 80″, while this sofabed’s mattress is 60″ x 72″._There is a $40 nightly charge for each guest beyond two._The bathroom is gorgeous, filled with light and style._You have your own large, high-quality front-loading washing machine and clothes dryer, which you can use at no additional cost. I provide detergent, and there’s an iron and ironing board, too._You also have a wireless laserjet printer/scanner. (Unless you let me know in advance that you need to use the printer, I cannot guarantee that the ink cartridge will work, since it is used rarely and the ink might dry out.)_In the living room, there is a 55″ 4K TV (TCL Roku), connected to an Xfinity cable modem. I’m sorry but we don’t know anything about the TV, so we cannot offer any kind of tech support with it. Don’t forget to log out of any services you log into._Check-in is after 4pm, and check-out is by 10am. Early check-in and late check-out are generally not possible, but feel free to leave your luggage in the basement bulkhead next to your entryway (careful on the stairs!)._Backyard use is by appointment. We use the backyard when you’re not using it. It’s full of flowers and is a lovely place to hang out. I’ll clean it up if it’s messy._$100 charge if parking permit not returned._CANCELLATION POLICY:Cancel any time, and there is no need to contact me when you are canceling. Instead, get in touch with me after your dates have passed. Then I will issue a refund for any nights that were booked by someone else after you cancelled.
