This cozy cabin is the perfect spot to unwind and relax. It’s just minutes from beaches and historical sites.Guests are less than a five minute walk to the historic Penn Center where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr wrote parts of his “I have a dream speech.” The efficiency-style cottage is a 12 minute drive to Hunting Island and Fort Freemont beaches. Some of the best restaurants and bars on this sea island are just minutes away. Downtown Beaufort and the beautiful waterfront is also nearby.When you first arrive at this quiet retreat you will notice a porch that is a perfect spot for drinking a cup of coffee while listening to the birds chirp. It’s also lovely to sit outside in the afternoon and watch the squirrels hide their nuts as the sun goes down.Inside the home features a full-sized bed and full-sized pullout sofa. The kitchenette features a countertop burner, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, and George Forman grill. It features a deep sink perfect for rinsing out sandy bathing suites. There is wifi. There is also a TV with a Roku. Please note – this space is about 350 square feet inside.This space can accommodate up to four people. It features a big yard that your children will enjoy playing in. This home is a great place to unplug.Our little cabin is a perfect place to stay when coming into town for the Gullah Festival, Water Festival, Heritage Festival or just for sightseeing.
